Founder, Co-Director
Johnnie Brannon has acted in more than 70 films and has directed 13 short films, most recently The Book Club (2024), now in its festival run. Johnnie was a founder of the Film Society of Little Rock and later, of Made in Arkansas Film Festival (now the Rock City Film Festival). Johnnie is also a musician and composer - he scores his own and other films, and records music under the moniker AnotherTheory. A Fort Smith native, Johnnie grew up in Oklahoma, and now calls Little Rock home.

Co-Director
Kerri Michael is a writer and producer based in Little Rock, Arkansas. Film credits include The Book Club (2024), Silent Night (2021), and The Unbeatable Bixby (2019). She has co-directed the Made in Arkansas Film Festival since its inception in 2018. She has also “acted” in two short films (although it would be more accurate to say she was a living prop with facial expressions). Kerri is a therapist in private practice and a yoga teacher. A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Kerri enjoys being creative, cooking, spending time in nature, and learning new things.
